Immediate openings available for a Programmer/ Analyst in the Los
Angeles, CA area. Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of significant
experience in UNIX, C, SQL, and an RDB (preferably Sybase). Strong
communication and team skills are needed. The ability to conceptualize
the business problem and propose solution alternatives is required.
Experience with Oracle, DB2, Ingress, or Informix is a plus.
Responsibilities will include developing embedded SQL queries in the C
language of relational databases in a UNIX environment. The project will
include development of RPC's, and use of OMNI SQL Gateway. There will be
focus on performance tuning and optimization. The application profile
includes document and image management, workflow, payment and billing
processing, business process re-design, and object oriented approaches to
application development. Position may be either permanent or contract.
